A peaceful, quiet small town somewhere in Hungary. This is where an actress, who is going through a personal as well as a professional crisis, returns home. She comes to sell her inheritance, and, in the silence of the small town, gather her thoughts. Everything seems simple: she is going to settle everything about the inheritance, meet some old friends, and get back to her normal day-to-day routine.

During the brief visit, however, below the stillness of the town, another part of the inheritance is stirring: a part that is not regulated by any law, one that we all have inside us. As these hidden layers come to light, the actress' personal crisis gets deeper, and slowly grows into one that will affect the entire community.
