HolnapUtán Festival: the Second Day

The 5th HolnapUtán Festival continued with the guest plays by two acting schools. On Friday, 7 April, students of Târgu Mureş University of Arts, and those of Budapest Academy of Drama and Film have taken the stage in Oradea.

Honest, surprising and funny – these are the words that best describe the improvisative performance of the Târgu Mureş students. Kiadjamagát, created with the help of director Péter Forgács, talks about how young people start a carreer, their fears and joys, in the most direct way.

Friday evening continued with a musical performance and a concert. At 7 pm, 3rd year students from Budapest presented their show about world famous American composers George Gershwin and Cole Porter, titled George&Cole, and then, at 10 pm, the students' own band called Pink Mojos and The Fuckfaces gave a concert in Szigligeti Studio.

The series of events continues on Saturday, at 5 pm, with an exhibition opening, followed by the play Casting by Szigligeti Company, and the concert of the theatre company's music band. On Sunday, 9 April, the last day of the festival, Várad cultural magazine will present its new editions, after which the performance HolnapUtán Projekt will take place. The performance is being created by 14 students, during the four days of the festival. The last play of HolnapUtán Festival will be The Bourgeoise Gentleman by Tamási Áron Theatre Sf. Gheorghe.
