HolnapUtán Festival: the Third Day
On the third day of HolnapUtán Festival, very diverse events took place in terms of art forms. Those interested were invited to an exhibition opening, an interactive play, and also a concert.
On Saturday, everything happened in the two rooms of Szigligeti Studio. At 5 pm, graphic artist László Németh's exhibition opening took place. In his opening speech, visual artist Zsolt Ercsei said that Németh was a real revolutionary type: the first theatre posters that he ever made were, in fact, a joke addressed to the theatre's management at the time. In the almost ten years that have since passed, László Németh became the main graphic artist responsible for the whole visual identity of the institution, creating countless posters that have received international accolades.
Theatre events continued with the play Casting by the festival's hosts, Szigligeti Company. Spectators of the interactive performance were invited to take part in the play, made complete by music composed by József Iszlai, to the texts by Evelin Jock and Árpád Biró.
The evening ended with a concert organized by Szigligeti Company. Besides actors from Casting, the band Columbo's Wife took the stage, followed by the Star Band formed by Oradea actors: Eduárd Szabó, Gyulus Kocsis, Lóránt Csatlós, Hunor Sebestyén (vocals), Lóránt Veres, Dávid Dombi, Tamás Kása, Zoltán Imre, Csaba Kiss, István Székely, and Örs Albert-Nagy (instruments).
On the last day of the festival, at 5 pm, Várad Cultural Magazine will present its newest editions, followed by the performance put together by students from the Carpathian region. The evening, and also the festival, will end with the play The Bourgeoise Gentleman, presented by Tamási Áron Theatre Sf. Gheorghe.
